Munich, Germany
Modern Munich with Storybook Villages and Fairytale Castles
Take a full-day Guided Tour to the garden landscape of the Bavarian Alps to visit Neuschwanstein Castle—the historic home of King Ludwig.

Day 3
Munich – Nuremberg (ship embarkation)
Join a guided tour of Nuremberg with its medieval architecture, gilded fountain, Gothic cathedral and Kaiserburg Castle.

Bamberg
•Your bike is ready! Hop on and bike along the canals in Bamberg with your Adventure Host, OR:
•Take a Guided Walking Tour of the historic home to imperial dynasties, and see its Romanesque cathedral, Old Town Hall, and seven hills crowned with churches, OR:
•Discover a very special family run hop garden where you will also taste a local beer.
After the tour, spend free time with a glass of German-style Rauchbier (smoked beer).
Later in the evening, enjoy onboard a beer lecture hosted by your Beer Expert while cruising.

Day 5
Würzburg
Explore Würzburg's charm by bike with your Adventure Host, OR: Take a Guided Sightseeing Tour of Würzburg with its Old Main Bridge, towering fortress, and baroque Bishop’s Residenz—with the largest known ceiling fresco.

You may choose to join a Guided Optional Excursion to the beautiful Bavarian town of Rothenburg. See the local sights and enjoy the fairytale atmosphere that has inspired artists.

Day 6
Miltenberg
Join a Guided Walking Tour of Miltenberg, a showcase of medieval half-timber homes and home to Germany’s oldest inn. OR: Enjoy an onboard beer tasting hosted by your Beer Expert.

Frankfurt
•Enjoy a biking experience in the city of Frankfurt with your Adventure Host, OR:
•Take a Guided Tour to Seligenstadt—one of Germany’s oldest towns and home to the Einhard Basilika—dubbed “minor basilica” in 1925 by Pope Pius XI, OR:
•Join a Guided Sightseeing Tour of Frankfurt to see the city’s cultural landmarks and gleaming financial headquarters combined with the cozy ambience of quaint neighborhoods, OR:
•Venture beyond the traditional pilsner on this on this exciting guided brewery tour featuring an introduction to some of Frankfurt’s most delicious craft beers.

Spend free time this afternoon exploring Frankfurt on your own, and later, enjoy live entertainment on board.

Boppard – Rhine Gorge - Rüdesheim
This morning, stretch out on the Sky Deck as you pass through the spectacular Rhine Gorge on your way to Rüdesheim.

•Tour the incredible Mechanical Music Museum for a one-of-a-kind instrumental experience; enjoy a tasting of the authentic Rüdesheimer coffee.

Strasbourg, France
•Join a City Tour of Strasbourg’s sights, including its Gothic, stained-glass cathedral with its celebrated ancient murals and astronomical clock, as well as the magical La Petite France District. OR:

Breisach, Germany (Black Forest)
•Join a full-day Guided Tour to the magical Black Forest to experience the Vogtsbauernohf open-air-museum, visit an authentic water mill, and see a traditional butter-making demonstration, OR:
•Enjoy the view on a relaxing bike ride along the Rhine with your Adventure Host, OR:
•Join A Guided Tour to explore Freiburg’s medieval city center, sheltered by the Black Forest amid vineyards and gardens of the Upper Rhine Valley.
•You may choose to join a Guided Optional Excursion to visit the charming village of Colmar in the morning.

Your vacation ends this morning with breakfast.

What are exclusive group rates?
By booking within our contracted group, your cruise fare is less than the published rates. Our group has exclusive group rates that are significantly less than published rates and we will have perks like complimentary gratuities and other surprises along the way. Availability with our group rates is limited.
What is the deposit?
The non-refundable deposit for the tour is $250 per person.
When is final payment due?
The final payment will be due on July 23, 2025.
What is included in the pricing?
The cruise fares listed in this document include taxes and port expenses. Beer, wine & soft drinks at lunch and dinner are included as well as a daily happy hour on board. All excursions other than those listed as optional are also included. All meals on board, room service, afternoon tea, and four course gourmet dinner. Specialty coffees, espresso drinks and beWell Essence flavored and infused water available throughout each day
I’m a solo traveler. Can I still join?
Yes! We would love for you to join us. The pricing included here is based on two guests. Please reach out for pricing for a solo traveler.
Can I extend in Zurich after the trip?
Yes! You can extend one or two nights in Zurich as part of your package for $240 per person per night based on two people or $357 for a solo traveler.
What is the cancellation policy?
The cancellation penalty depends on when you cancel.
Is insurance available?
Insurance is available. Insurance rates vary depending on several factors. Once deposited, you will receive a quote for optional insurance.
How do I hold my room?
Complete the Client Information Form on www.engagevacations.com/client-information-form and we will hold your cabin and send you a reservation to review prior to making your deposit payment.
Is transportation available?
Yes, transportation is available through Avalon on October 21st and October 31st. The cost is $55 per person each way.
