This morning, get to know Lagos, your charming home base for the vacation ahead, with an orientation walk through its colorful Old Town. Later, experience the breathtaking Algarve coastline, taking in sweeping views of
golden cliffs, turquoise waters, beautiful beaches, and picturesque fishing ports. Stroll along the boardwalk at Ponta da Piedade, then explore Sagres and visit its legendary Fortress. Continue to Cape St. Vincent, where dramatic cliffs meet the sea at this spectacular promontory once believed by the Romans to be the end of the world. Take in the unforgettable scenery and natural beauty of Portugal’s southern coast.

Lagos: Excursion to Olhão & Tavira
Explore the bustling fishing town of Olhão on a guided walking tour along the Path of Legends, where local folklore comes to life in its historic squares. Visit the vibrant waterfront markets and savor regional delicacies before continuing to the picturesque town of Tavira for a guided walking tour and time at leisure. The day culminates with an
intimate Fado performance, where expressive singers, heartfelt lyrics, and the delicate sounds of the Portuguese guitar bring this iconic musical tradition to life. Rich in emotion and storytelling, Fado offers a memorable glimpse into the heart and cultural heritage of Portugal.

Enjoy a full day to explore the coastal gem of Lagos at your own pace, wandering its charming streets, discovering its maritime heritage, and browsing local shops. Or, join an optional farm-to-table experience in the peaceful Algarve countryside, where citrus groves, olive trees, and whitewashed farmhouses reflect the region’s timeless character. Visit a local orchard before enjoying a delicious lunch featuring fresh, seasonal flavors and experiencing the simple traditions of rural life.

Lagos: Excursion to Faro & Rio Formosa Natural Park
Discover the historic city of Faro on a guided walking tour through its charming Old Town, including a visit to its impressive Cathedral. Enjoy some free time before cruising the serene lagoons of Ria Formosa Natural Park on an eco-friendly solar boat, surrounded by beautiful coastal scenery and abundant birdlife. Continue to São Brás de Alportel for a guided visit to a sustainable cork factory, where you’ll learn about traditional harvesting and production. End

Enjoy a full day at leisure to experience Lagos at your own
pace—relax on its beautiful golden beaches, unwind beside the sparkling Atlantic, or perhaps enjoy a round of golf in the stunning coastal surroundings. Stroll along the lively marina, browse charming boutiques, or savor freshly caught seafood at a local restaurant, soaking up the effortless Algarve ambiance. Perhaps discover more about the maritime life with an optional excursion that includes a boat tour to Benagil Cave, followed by a visit to the Can Museum, and free time in Portimão. This evening, join your travel companions for a farewell dinner.
